New Beginnings

In my January newsletter, I shared with you how I like to sit down at the start of every new year and plan out my personal goals and wishes for my year ahead. I find this ritual keeps me on track for creating my happiest, most fulfilling life.

BalanceAs part of that process, I regularly review how my wheel is ‘turning’ at the end of every 3 months, noticing where my energy is flowing more easily and where it is not!  I always find it interesting to look at the areas where I am out of balance and to see the impact they have on other segments - they are always integrated in some way.

This quarter I noticed that I was low on ‘fun and adventure’ and ‘time out’ just for Me. When I looked at the goals I had wanted to achieve in these areas they overlapped.  More ‘LML time’ always necessitates more fun and adventure!

I also noticed that some of my goals had changed slightly. They didn’t hold the same interest and intensity for me as they had at the beginning of the year.  I realise this is because I continue to ‘grow’ and new opportunities keep popping up on my horizon.

So instead of trying to tick off an already outdated list, I created some new wishes.

I took advantage of my Easter break (Easter interestingly, symbolises new begNew Lifeinnings in the Christian faith) to play a game of The Wish, this time focusing on creating a lot more fun and adventure in my life.  As usual, the game opened up some amazing insights about my blocks, about how I have to work hard all the time!  While it may seem obvious, the clear message was to inject more fun into my work.

So my 3 action steps at the end of my game were to:

1. Book my flights to the US and UK to do a promotional tour with The Wish;
2. Accept invitations to teach The Wish around the US and UK;
3. Schedule some days off in between teaching to have some fun.

CompassWithin a week of playing this game, I have already accepted some amazing invitations to teach in California, New Mexico, Massachusetts and New York and been invited to spend some time off with new friends, exploring their backyards.  Being willing to stay open to new ideas has allowed me to create some wonderful new adventures that I know will be sensational fun!

As I said in my January newsletter, we are all interested in manifesting the happiest and most fulfilling lives we can, and to do that it’s important to take positive actions steps that let the Universe know we are totally committed to the process of creation and fulfilling our wishes!

DirectionI hope this article will inspire you to take some time out this week to revisit your wheel of life or to create a new one if you haven’t already done so this year. Be mindful to look at the eight segments that represent the most important aspects of your life, and to be honest with yourself about what goals will make you, and not anyone else, the happiest person in your life.

Remember it is really easy to start a new beginning.  All you have to do is chose one area of your life to focus upon and then set your intention to start a new, blank page. So why not grab your Wish game out this week and make a new Wish for right now.

One small shift in your thinking can allow amazing opportunities to open up to you! Just wait and see...

Happy New Beginnings!

Best Wishes
Louise + The Wish® Team
